YELLOW BEADED CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

Materials: Bedspread weight cotton thread, size 10, size 7 hook; 16 4 mm shiny white beads (or seed beads)

Size: Approximately 2 3/4 inches across

Chain 7, join with slip st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 8, dc in ring, (ch 5, make a beaded dc in ring) 6 times, ch 2, slide a bead down close to the thread, make a slip st in 4th ch of beginning ch-8.

Rnd 2: Ch 8, dc in the top of the next beaded st, (ch 5, dc in next beaded st) 6 times, ch 5, dc in the 3rd ch of beginning ch-8. 8 loops made.

Rnd 3: Slip st in th next loop, * (sc, ch 7, sc) in the next ch-5 loop, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 2, repeat from * around, ending with ch-2, slip st in the beginning sc.

Rnd 4: Slip st in the next ch-7 loop, (ch 1, dc) twice in the same ch-7 loop.
Make a beaded dc, (ch 1, dc) 3 times in the same ch-7 loop. *(Ch 1, sc in the next ch-2 loop) twice. In the next ch-7 loop make [(ch 1, dc) 3 times, ch 1, beaded dc, (ch 1, dc)] 3 times, Repeat from * around, ending with an sc in the last ch-2 loop, slip st into the next dc.

HANGING LOOP: Chain 30, slip st in the next ch-2 loop, finish off.

VARIEGATED THREAD CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

Materials: Bedspread weight cotton thread, size 10, Christmas variegated or color of choice, Size 6 hook.

Finished Size: Approximately 2 3/4 inches across.

Chain 6, join to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc in the same dc, * ch 2, make a 2 dc cluster: (YO, pull up a loop in the ring, YO, draw thread through 2 loops on hook) twice, YO, draw through all loops on hook. Repeat from * 8 times, join to the top of the first Cluster. (10 clusters)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, make a beginning 4 dc cluster: (YO, draw up a loop in the top of the 2 dc cluster, YO, pull thread through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, YO, pull thread through all 4 loops on hook, * ch 5, make a 4 dc Cluster: (YO, draw up a loop in the top of the next 2 dc cluster, YO, pull thread through 2 loops on hook) 4 times, YO, pull thread through all 5 loops on hook. Repeat from * 8 times, join to the top of the first Cluster.

Rnd 3: Slip st into ch-5 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in the same sp, * 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in the next ch-5 sp, repeat from * 8 times, join to the top of the ch-3.

Rnd 4: Ch 3, make a beginning 3 dc cluster: (YO, insert hook into next dc, pull up a loop, YO, draw thread through 2 sts) 2 times, YO, draw thread through all loops on the hook. ch 2, dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, make a 3 dc cluster: [ *(YO, insert hook in next dc, pull up a loop, YO, draw thread through 2 sts) 3 times, YO, draw thread through all loops on hook *. repeat between * and * once. Ch 2, dc in next ch sp, ch 2], repeat between [ and ] around, slip st in top of beginning 3 dc cluster, join with slip st in the beginning ch-3.

HANGING LOOP: Chain 30, slip st in the same beginning ch-3. Finish off, weave in ends.

GREEN CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

Materials: Bedspread weight cotton thread, Christmas green, size 10;
size 0 hook.

Finished size: Approximately 3 inches across, excluding hanger.

Chain 6, join with slip st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 5, in the ringmake (dc, ch 3) 7 times, join. 8 sps.

Rnd 2: Slip st into ch-3 sp, ch 3, make 4 dc in the same space,
(in the next sp make 5 dc) 7 times, join.

Rnd 3: Ch 3, make a dc in the next 4 dc, ch 4,
(dc in the next 5 dc, ch 4) 7 times, join.

Rnd 4: Slip st into the next dc, make a 3 dc cluster:
(YO, pull up a loop in the next st, YO,
draw thread through 2 sts) twice, YO,
draw thread through all loops on hook.
(Ch 5, sc in the next ch-4 sp, ch 5, make a 3 dc cluster
in the center 3 dc sts of the next 5 dc group) 6 times,
ch 5, sc in the next ch-4 sp, ch 5, join in the top of Cluster.

Rnd 5: Slip st in the next ch-5 sp, make (2 sc, ch 3, [slip st into
the first ch for Picot], 2 sc in the same ch-5 sp) 15 times more,

join. Do not cut thread.

HANGING LOOP: Chain 30, slip t in the first ch.

Fasten off, weave in ends.

Spray on starch, shape, pin to dry. I use any color of glitter when it is dry.

Materials: Red #10 thread, Size 7 hook, 8 white seed beads.
Finished size: approx. 3 inches

String white 8 seed beads. Chain 6, join to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Chain 3, dc in ring, ch 2, *(YO, draw up a loop in ring, YO, draw thru 2 loops on hook) twice, YO, draw thru all loops on hook, [2 dc cluster
made], ch 2, repeat from * around, join with slip st in top of beginning
ch-3. (11 clusters made)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, * sc in the next ch-2 loop, ch 9, sc in same space, (ch 5, sc in next ch-2 sp), repeat from * around, ending with ch 3, dc in the first sc. (6 ch-8 loops made)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same loop, * 7 dc, ch 3, 7 dc in next ch-9 loop, sc in next ch-5 loop, repeat from * around, join with sl st in the 1st sc. (6)

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in the joining st, *dc in the next 7 dc, ch 1, make a beaded dc in next ch-3, ch 1, [b dc: (YO, insert hook in ch-3 loop, pull up a loop, push a bead close to hook and complete as dc], dc in the next 7 dc, sc in next sc, repeat from * around, join with sl st to 1st sc. Finish off. Weave in ends.

Green Thread with Red & Silver Beads Ornament

MATERIALS: Small amount of Christmas Green Bedspread Weight Thread, Size 7 hook; Size 4 mm beads (seed beads) in Red and Silver.

Beaded dc (b dc): Push a bead close to the last stitch made, YO, with the bead behind hook, insert the hook in the next space, pull up thread, YO, pull the thread through 2 loops, push the bead to the front of work, YO, pull the thread through the remaining 2 loops.

Finished Size: Approximately 4 inches across

Chain 6, join to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, * push a bead close to the hook, complete as a dc, pushing bead to the front, complete as dc, repeat from * 5 times, ending with a dc,
join to the top of the first b dc.

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in the base of the ch 3 just made, * ch 1, make 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, 2 dc in the top of the next b dc, repeat from * around. Join with a slip st in the top of the 1st ch-3. (24 dc made)

Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * ch 1, b dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1, dc in the next 2 dc, repeat from * around. Ch 1, join to the top of the beginning ch-3. (12 b dc)

Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in the next dc, * ch 1, dc in the top of b dc, ch 1, dc in the next 2 dc (3 dc & 2 ch-1 sp made so far). Repeat from * around, ending with ch 1, dc in the top of b dc, ch 1, join with slip st to beginning ch-3.

Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in the next dc, * ch 1, b dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1, b dc in th next ch-1 sp, ch 1, dc in the next 2 dc, repeat from * around, ending with ch 1, join with slip st to the to top of beginning ch-3.

Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc in the next dc, * (ch 1, dc in the top of b dc) twice, ch 1, dc in the next 2 dc, repeat from * around, ending with ch 1, join to the top of the beginning ch-3.

Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in the next dc, * (ch 1, b dc in the next ch-1 sp) 3 times,
ch 1, dc in the next 2 dc, repeat from * around, ending as before.

Rnd 8: Ch 3, dc in the next dc, * ch 3, make a 3 dc Cluster,

To make 3 dc Cluster: (YO, insert hook in the top of the next b dc, pull up a loop, YO, pull thread through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, YO, pull thread through all 4 loops on the hook. Ch 3, dc in the next 2 dc, repeat from * around, join with slip st in the beginning ch-3.

HANGING LOOP: Chain 3, (make a beaded chain stitch) 9 more times,
ch 3, join with sl st to the next dc. End off.

Finished Size: Approx 5 inches across.
Stitch Guide:
Beginning Decrease: Ch 2, YO, insert hook in next st. YO, pull up a loop,
(YO, draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.
Decrease: * YO, insert hook in next st, YO, pull up a loop, YO, draw through 2 loops on hook, repeat from * once more. YO, draw through
all 3 loops on hook.
Beginning Cluster: Ch 2, * YO, insert hook in next dc, YO, pull up a loop, YO, draw through 2 loops on hook, repeat from * once more,e YO, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Cluster: * YO, insert hook in next dc, YO, pull up a loop, YO, draw through 2 loops on hook, repeat from * 2 times more, YO, draw thru all 4 lps on hook.

With Gold, ch 10, join to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, make 24 sc in the ring, join in the first sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in the same st, *ch 6, skip next sc, sc in next sc,
repeat from * around to the last sc, ch 2, skip the last sc,
trc in the 1st sc toform the last ch-6 space. (12 ch-6 loops & 12 sc).

Rnd 3: Attach Red with slst in any ch-6 sp, ch 3, make 4 dc in same ch- 6 sp, skip next sc, 5 dc in the next ch-6 sp, * ch 2, sk next sc,
(5 dc in next ch-6 sp) twice, ch 2, (5 dc in next ch-6 sp) twice,
repeat from * around, ch 2, join with sl st in top of beginning ch-3.
(60 dc).

Rnd 4: Work a beginning decrease, dc in next 3 dc, sc in space before next
next dc, dc in next 3 dc, decrease, ch 4, * decrease, dc in next 3 dc, sc in sp before next dc, dc in next 3 dc, decrease, ch 4, sc in next
ch-2 sp, ch 4. Repeat from * around, join with sl st to 1st dc.

Rnd 5: Work beginning decrease, dc in next 5 sts, decrease, ch 5,
(sc in next ch-4 sp, ch 5) twice, * decrease, dc in next 5 sts,
decrease, ch-5, (sc in next ch-4 sp, ch 5) twice. Repeat from *
around, join with sl st to 1st dc.

Rnd 6: Work beginning decrease, dc in next 3 dc, decrease, ch 6,
(sc in next ch-5 sp, ch 6) 3 times, * decrease, dc in next 3 dc, decrease, ch 6, (sc in next ch-5 sp, ch 5) three times, Repeat
from * around. Join with sl st in the 1st dc.

Rnd 7: Work beginning dec, dc in the next dc, decrease * ch 5, (sc in the
next ch-5 sp, ch 5) 4 times, decrease, dc in next dc, decrease,
repeat from * 4 times more (ch 5, sc in next ch-5 sp) 4 times,
ch 4, dc in 1st dc to form the last ch-5 space.

Rnd 8: Cut the Red and attach Green with a sl st in any ch-5 sp,
ch 1, sc in same ch-5 sp, (ch 6, sc in the next ch-5 sp) around,
ch 3, dc in 1st sc. End off. Weave in ends.
